Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a variety of payment methods to ensure that our customers have a convenient and seamless shopping experience. We accept payments through PayPal, Visa/Mastercard credit cards, and Visa debit cards. Please note that while most Visa debit cards are accepted, certain prepaid cards may not be compatible with our system.


If you only see the option for PayPal on the first checkout screen, please be assured that you can still choose to pay with a credit or debit card on the next page of the payment process after you have entered your name and address.


If you decide to use PayPal, you will be directed to the PayPal website where you will be prompted to log in and process your payment. Once the transaction is complete, you will be redirected back to our merchant website.

Where is my refund?

At Best Ideas UK, we strive to provide a timely service to our customers. We aim to process refunds for returned items within three business days of receiving the item back. However, please note that the processing time for refunds may vary depending on the policies of your bank. You will get an email notification confirming the refund but it may take up to 10 working days for your bank to clear this therefore we would appreciate if you could wait until this time has passed before contacting us.

Ordering & Delivery

When will my order arrive?

We offer two delivery options on our website to ensure your order arrives quickly and efficiently. Standard delivery costs £2.99 and takes 2-4 working days to arrive across the UK. Express delivery is also available for next business day delivery at a cost of £4.99. We use both Evri and Royal Mail to deliver our parcels to you. Once your item(s) have been shipped, we will email you a tracking number and link so you can track your order's delivery progress. To receive important shipping updates, please add our email address, contact@bestideasuk.co.uk, to your safe senders list or whitelist. We have a flat shipping fee, regardless of the number of items you order and there is no minimum order amount.

How much is shipping?

How do I track my order?

When you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email which will include a tracking reference number that you can use to check the progress of your order online.


We recommend adding our email address, contact@bestideasuk.co.uk, to your safe senders list to ensure that you receive important order updates.

Where is my order confirmation email?

Once an order is placed, a confirmation email will be automatically sent to the email address provided during checkout.


If you do not receive your order confirmation within 24 hours, please check your mailbox's spam or junk folder before contacting us as the confirmation email may have been directed there. Some email providers, such as Hotmail and Yahoo, have been known to direct our notification emails to the spam or junk folder. If you have still not received the order confirmation then contact us at contact@bestideasuk.co.uk to verify that your order has been processed successfully.

Why has my order been cancelled?

We make every effort to fulfill all orders placed on our website. However, there may be instances where an order must be cancelled. This typically occurs due to an issue with stock availability or if the customer requests to cancel the order.


We apologise for any inconvenience if your order is cancelled due to a problem on our end. In such cases, we will always offer an alternative product and process a full refund as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order?

We understand that circumstances may change and you may need to cancel your order. In order to ensure that we can accommodate your request, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order, at contact@bestideasuk.co.uk, as we have a limited time frame to process orders.


If we are able to cancel your order before it is processed, we will organise a refund for you. However, if your order has already been processed, you may return it to us for a refund once you receive it.


Please note that all orders are processed and dispatched by 9am Monday to Friday. Any update requests made after this time may not be able to be processed.

How do I alter my order?

We understand that you may need to make changes to your order after it has been placed. If we receive your request ahead of processing we can amend the order however once we’ve started processing it, we are unable to modify it.


If you need to increase the quantity or add an additional product to your order, we recommend placing a new order online. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order, please contact us at contact@bestideasuk.co.uk and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.

What shipping carrier do you use?

We use both Evri and Royal Mail to deliver our parcels to you.

To check the delivery progress of your order, you will need a tracking number. This will be emailed to you once your item(s) have been shipped. What do I do if my tracking link does not work?

If you are experiencing difficulties with your tracking information, we kindly ask for your patience as the tracking link may not be activated immediately. This is due to the need for the package to be processed and scanned at the courier's depot, which can take up to 24 hours. We apologise for any inconvenience and assure you that your package is on its way.

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

We understand that sometimes an item may not meet your expectations. That's why we offer a 30-day return policy for all of our products, as long as they are in their original condition and packaging, with all tags and labels attached. To initiate a return, please ensure that you include your customer details, such as name, address, email, and order number, with your returned item. This will allow us to accurately identify and process your return.

How do I return an item?

If you would like to return an item, please contact our customer service team at contact@bestideasuk.co.uk before sending the item back to us.


Our team will assist you in ensuring that your return meets our return criteria and falls within the 30-day cancellation period.


Once your return is approved, we will email you a return note that must be printed and included when returning the product to us.


Please note that the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for suitable packaging and postage for the returned item.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

We take great care in ensuring that your order is delivered to you in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact our customer service team immediately at contact@bestideasuk.co.uk with photos of the affected product.


Our team will respond within 48 hours and assist you in resolving the issue. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase and would like to return it, we will gladly accept it as long as it is in "as new" condition, with all original packaging and labels attached. To initiate a return, please refer to our return policy by clicking this link.

How long does it take to return an item?

The return time for an item may vary depending on the carrier or shipping method selected for the return. Once we receive your returned item, we will promptly notify you via email. Our goal is to process all refunds within three business days of receiving the item in our warehouse. However, it may take several days for the refund to be processed by your bank or credit card provider.


If you used PayPal for the original transaction, the refund will typically be processed instantly. For other payment methods, such as credit card, the refund may take up to 10 business days to be credited to your account.

Miscellaneous

How do I apply my discount code?

1. When checking out, if you have a coupon/ discount code, enter it in the box labelled "Discount code" (example below):

The discount will then be subtracted from the total of your order.


Each order is limited to the use of ONE discount code.

We cannot apply discounts for you after you have placed an order.

How do I become a product tester for Best Ideas UK?

If you are interested in becoming a product tester for BestIdeasUK, please send an email to dan@bestideasuk.co.uk expressing your interest. Please note that due to a high volume of requests, it may take some time before we are able to respond to your inquiry. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
